The following are rules to the General Chat area:
- GUESTS AND NON-MEMBERS ALLOWED - Do not flame or otherwise put down other Yuku users who are not members of the board. They are more than welcome in this chat and, should they become members, in the member-only chat as well. This is not discrimination so much as it is a preference issue, as some members may feel more comfortable posting within the community as opposed to open discussion with anyone from Yuku.
- RESPECT OTHER USERS - While this may be in the general forum rules, I reiterate it for the purpose of emphasis. When non-members are involved, it's important to be polite and respectful to help garnish a bigger member base. Users who feel disrespected and have had a horrible time will not likely stay here very long. We want this to be a forum everyone can enjoy.
- MARK MATURE TOPICS - Any topic unsuitable for users under the age of 18 (or any other given age) MUST be marked for content with an "M", "Mature", "18+", or some other identification mark. While
this won't prevent any minors from reading a mature topic, this will make any such fault a liability of the user and not the board or topic starter.
Minors may post in such topics, so long as they understand fully that they are entirely liable for any content they read (in the sense that it was marked and
they chose to read it) and/or post. Mature images must be linked to - they cannot be directly posted in a topic as other images can be.
