As every forum has a set of rules to abide by, so does this one. This set of rules covers every board on the forum. Note that if individual boards' rules and these rules conflict, the individual boards' rules always win. Respectively, any admin may "override" any rule on the board on a case-by-case basis (but are still subject to them under normal conditions at any given time)

  • NO FLAMING - Suffice to say, do not flame or flamebait other users (even with due cause). The only exception is if it is CLEARLY evidence as a mere joke. However, tasteless and lewd flames are exempt from the joke exception.
  • NO SPAMMING/TROLLING - Don't post off-topic comments or make random, disruptive posts. If a topic is meant to be random and thoughtless, then this obviously doesn't apply. However, should such topics be disruptive to the board, they will count as trolling topics. Any misplaced topics will be moved without penalty unless there's a consistancy of misplaced topics.
  • NO IMPERSONATION - Don't impersonate any user at any time, especially staff members of this board. Cases of any impersonation will NOT be taken lightly.
  • FOLLOW TOS GUIDELINES - While some guidelines will be less "important" than others, try to follow the Yuku TOS Guidelines as closely as possible. In the event that any incident arises, I'm only responsible for anything I do. If you post something on this board that breaks TOS guidelines, we may or may not report it and it's your responsibility to own up to it, not ours.
  • RESPECT OTHER USERS - Whether they are members or not, regardless of playstyle and many other qualities, hold a certain amount of respect for other people. It doesn't have to be much, per say, but it does have to be enough that you can remain civil with 99.9% of the population.
  • STAFF HAS THE LAST WORD - Staff is here to help improve the board and keep everything in check. If there is a moderation, you must follow it. However, if there is a dispute over a moderation, this may be looked into further by other staff. At any given time, admins always have the final say - bar my own decisions. All final decisions are just that - final decisions. If the case is exceptionally complicated, then an admin's decision may be taken to me and I will personally investigate. This does not imply that I will rule in your favor, and any decision I make is absolutely final with no regards to Yuku staff.
  • TRUTH HURTS - Some users may be offended by facts being pointed out. If this happens to you (as either party), feel free to bring it to my attention. However, as facts are facts and honesty is a highly-coveted characteristic lost in today's insane mess of a world, if anything can be proven with hard evidence, articles, or highly-logical implications, no action will be taken. Otherwise, anyone in the wrong will have to apologize, but no further action may be taken. Note that opinions that may offend others are still unrestricted, as it's your own personal opinion - some will be fine with it, others not so much. Keep an open mind and please leave your closed soul at the back door - for everyone's sake.
Proceedure of actions taken against offenders is always case-by-case, but the standard of reprimandation will be thus:

  1. CAUTION - You will be cautioned for your behavior on the board. Typically used for wrist-slapping.
  2. WARNING #1 - Your first official warning. Typically used for very minor incidents.
  3. WARNING #2 - Your second official warning. Typically used for minor and moderate incidents.
  4. WARNING #3 - Your last official warning. Typically used for minor and moderate incidents.
  5. SUSPENSION - Your posting priviledges will be revoked, though you'll still be able to view topics. Typically used for very moderate or major incidents.
  6. TEMPORARY BAN - Your account(s) will be banned for a certain amount of time to be determined at the time of banning. Typically used for major incidents.
  7. PROLONGED BAN - Your account(s) will be banned for an undetermined amount of time, requiring admin approval to unban. Typically used for very major incidents.
  8. PERMANENT BAN - Your account(s) will be banned permanently with no possible return. Typically used for serious and very serious incidents.
Note that any action taken against you can be reported to a higher staff member, though this is dangerous as it could result in a higher action being taken against you. You knowingly take that risk whenever you appeal a decision.

That should be all the general rules. Please remember to have decent behavior (though it doesn't have to be "good" or "perfect" or "best" - just civil enough that you don't break the rules) and try to contribute to the forum in one way or another.
